40 stall barn with attached 100 x 200 indoor arena
19 paddocks on 21 acres
Looking for someone with experience with Thoroughbreds, youngsters and colts to work with retired racehorses transitioning to second careers.
Job includes overseeing part time staff, medications, dressing, bandaging, cleaning stalls, water, hay etc . Must be able to feed and start turning horses out without supervision. Not a riding position
Reliable, willing to pitch in and work as part of a team. Honest, enjoys being around horses and working outside. Prior experience beneficial although would be willing to train the right person provided they already have some experience handling young horses.
Self contained studio apartment with cable, all utilities covered. Choice of 1 or 2 days off per week
