Established in 1974, this organization is one of the highest quality feed suppliers in the Ocala area! With two prime locations to service all of the Ocala equine community, this well-established company offers security and stature for its employees. Carrying a full selection of premium forage, horse feeds, and livestock, fowl, and small animal feeds at affordable prices for all!
We are looking for a versatile and well-rounded retail professional to join this small but mighty team in Ocala, FL! The ideal candidate will have exceptional customer service and a passion for helping animals big and small. Primary responsibilities will include assisting customers with orders and questions both in-person and over the phone, stocking and organizing the storefront, ringing up and billing customers for feed orders, and conversing with loading staff and management as needed. This position requires someone with a strong ability to work under pressure and maintain excellent organizational skills. Basic computer literacy is a must. Applicants must also possess a strong background in equine terminology, especially with respect to feed & wellness products. Specific product knowledge can be trained, but would be highly favored from the beginning.

Job Duties
- Answering and fielding calls as needed
- Assisting with customer inquiries in-person and over the phone
- Ringing up and processing orders
- Assisting with the scheduling of feed deliveries
- Maintaining inventory levels within the store during the day
- Maintaining overall cleanliness and organization in-store
- Sales & special events duties as assigned
- Communicating with loaders & management as needed
- Ability to move from task to task as needed
- Minimum 1 years experience in customer-facing retail role
- Friendly, professional customer service skills
- Proficiency with basic computer programs
- Considerable Equine Industry experience
- Critical thinking skills
- Spanish Speaking capabilities preferred but not required
**All employees will begin as an agent of Equistaff before transitioning to the client's payroll. Candidates are subject to background and drug screening prior to start of employment.**
