About The Facility
Enterprise Farm is 13 acre horse boarding facility located just southeast of Raleigh, NC, 4.5 miles off of I-40, exit 219. There are 12 horses on the farm. Also on the property is a horse blanket cleaning and repair business (www.horseblanketservice.com) and an equine supplement business (www.ezium.org).
Job Description
Part-time assistance is needed for all horse and business related activities at Enterprise Farm. A typical day will include not only horse care/feeding/turnout, but also facility maintenance, customer interactions, packaging, shipping, and receiving. It is an opportunity to gain valuable experience in what it means to be a true equine related entrepreneur. An ideal position for students or for someone wanting to gain both horse care and equine business experience.
Job Requirements
Applicants much have a willingness to learn, transportation to and from the facility, the ability to lift 50 pounds, and good communication skills. A high school diploma and a valid drivers license are a plus but not required. Must be at least 15 years of age. Must be willing to work weekends. Hours are flexible with morning, afternoon, and evening opportunities available.
Benefits
Starting salary of $10/hour. $12.50/hour once able to work independently.
