Small thoroughbred breeding program on 100 acres. We have a small select herd of mares (4-5) and prepare their yearlings for sales.
Approximately 24 stalls and indoor arena, multiple paddocks of quality grass with loafing sheds.
Barn manager and assistant: Maintaining records, foaling mares, basic health care, assist in feeding, training foals and yearlings, fitting for sales, delivering mares and foals to breeding farms, ordering feed/shavings, making veterinary and farrier appointments, help with farm maintenance, mowing, fence repair, stall cleaning, etc.
Valid Drivers License with capability of driving truck/trailer with mares and foals.
Experience with foaling out mares, training foals and yearlings, grooming and fitting for sales.
Knowledge of nutrition and horse care, barn and farm maintenance, use of farm equipment.
Housing provided plus salary, foaling fee if mares foal at farm, bonus when foals/yearlings sell.

3 bedroom home with garage on farm within walking distance of barns.
