Job Description
The Assistant Equestrian Coach is responsible for assisting the head coach in all aspects of the Equestrian program. This includes assisting with public and media relations efforts; recruiting players; monitor student athletes academic progress; assisting in organizing and supervising practice and off season programs; assist in fundraising, and additional duties as assigned by the Athletic Director. This position is a full-time, 10-month, annually renewable position.
Job Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree; excellent interpersonal and motivational skills; personal commitment to integrity of the athletic program and the concept of the student-athlete, commitment to diversity and inclusion and student engagement, knowledge of NCAA Division II rules and regulations and basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in the 3'-3'6" equitation. Preference given to candidates who have a Masters or advanced degree; well educated in Equitation on the Flat and Equitation Over Fences, NCAA Division II recruiting experience, at least 1 year collegiate coaching experience in either the National Collegiate Equestrian Association or Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, and basic computer skills.
