About The Facility
One of Ocala's most luxurious, gated equestrian communities is looking for additional help for their long-term residents! This facility is home to several small stables with shared, private turnouts, shared arenas, and miles of hacking throughout the property. This facility is only open to members of the community, and boarders have the option to select either full care or dry stall boarding. Currently, there are around 22 horses requiring full-care responsibilities, with numbers subject to seasonal changing. These facilities and horses receive the absolute highest standards of care year round, and the property is centrally located to Ocala's best amenities!
Job Description
We are looking for one more reliable, knowledgeable set of hands to join in the care of these lovely boarded horses! Afternoon chores consist of feeding, turnout, light stall picking, cleaning hooves of horses coming in from turnout, blanketing, and light facility upkeep. On average, one can expect about 3-4 hours of work per day in the afternoons, and ideally we are looking for someone 6 days per week, with Mondays or Sundays as the off day.
