Job Description
Opening for a hunter/jumper/equitation instructor at beautiful farm in north Texas. We are an established program and have been in operation in the area for over 20 years. We run a lesson program, a show team that competes at A rated shows across the country. We also are home to a sporthorse breeding program that produces and sells top quality horses for both the hunter and jumper rings. Ability to ride/school ponies is a plus. If your teaching experience is less we are happy to train. We follow an easy to teach curriculum for daily/weekly lesson plans.

Prefer applicants to have some experience in the English/hunter/ jumper world, but most important quality is to be a positive, safety conscious individual interested in teaching (or learning how to teach) and be an enthusiastic instructor for beginners that can work independently managing staff and horses when we are gone at shows with a strong emphasis on horsemanship.

Some barn management duties also required such as turnout and in of lesson horses, assist lesson students with tack cleaning, feed ordering and grain making a couple days a week on the barn managers day off.
