This operation is based in a multi-discipline facility focused on the H/J, Dressage, and polo industries, including being home to its own Polo Club with matches every Friday and Sunday. This facility boasts all the comforts of a top country club, including lockers, showers, and regular equestrian social events. The newly remodeled barns, oversized indoor and outdoor arenas, and bridle trails through the property make this an incredible, and beautiful place to call "home".

This state of the art, H/J facility is seeking an experienced individual to manage their home operations. This person would act as an Assistant Trainer/Barn Manager to generally around 34 horses. This person would be responsible for overseeing horse care, riding, and teaching lessons. They show around 25x per year and take anywhere from 6-25 horses at a time. They are needing someone who can keep things running at home while they are on the road. They all work together as a team and the owner does a lot of the barn management. They currently have 7 staff members, The head trainer, a rider/trainer, and 5 grooms. This person would be responsible for managing feeding plans, vet/farrier and keeping everything stocked and running smoothly. They would be riding several client horses per day and teaching lessons beginner through riders at the medal/Maclay levels. This individual should be experienced, responsible and reliable.
- 5 years of experience in an ‘A’ circuit show barn
- Experience in all 3 rings through 3'3-3'6
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Experience managing show horses
- Experience teaching all levels
- Riding and preparing horses for clients
- Ability to give meds IM/IV
- Schedule and manage vet/farrier
- Ordering supplies i.e., feed, shavings, etc.…

- Ability to drive truck and trailer
- Ability to understand/speak Spanish
This is a 5 ½ day/week position generally 8 hours per day (show weeks may vary)
- 5.5-day work week
- 401k after the first year of employment
- Base salary of 65k/year (more depending on experience)
- Potential for year-end bonus
Housing and board are not offered; however, they will gladly assist with searching for and securing housing. The salary is flexible for the right individual and can be stretched based on housing needs.
