About The Facility
River Circle Farm is located 10 miles south of downtown Nashville, Tennessee. This farm is home to Touch Of Class, the 1984 double Gold Medalist from the 1984 Olympics. You will be working for Christian Currey, founder of FarmVet. Contact 615-300-8307 with interest (text preferred).
Job Description
In search of a full-time show jumping groom for a private operation. Currently 2-4 horses in work, ranging from the 1.20m to 1.45m, competing in the AO jumpers through Regional Grand Prix.
Job Requirements
Associate must be able to ride well (1.20-1.45m jumping ability but mainly consistent flatwork). You will be required to manage day-to-day operations of a total of 10 horses. Currently four of these are retired, two to four are competing. You will also have to manage an additional associate who handles the daily stall cleanings. You will groom at the following horse shows: Lake Placid, Wellington, Hampton Classic. Other job requirements include ordering feed, managing supplements, scheduling blacksmith and veterinary care, body clipping, bathing, and possibly braiding (jumper braids), and doing horse show entries.
