Job Description
Seeking an experienced horse care professional who genuinely loves horses, takes pleasure in a job well done, and is ready to bring their expertise to a professional and rewarding environment. Candidate will work alongside owner day to day and transition to managing farm operations/care when we are away. This is a perfect opportunity for a seasoned professional looking for a break from circuit life, while continuing to work/care for top equine athletes.

Job Requirements
• Grooming, bathing, wrapping, wound care, administering therapies.
• Feeding, blanketing, turnout.
• Exercising: Lunging, basic groundwork, hand walking etc. Positive reinforcement training (clicker/target) a plus but willing to train motivated candidate.
• Competition turnout (including clipping/plaiting) or drive to grow your skills.
• Assisting vet/farrier/care appts.
• Trailer loading.
• Equine First Aid – IM/IV
• Stall/barn cleaning, laundry and general upkeep of the farm.
• Ability to regularly lift 50 lbs.+ and manage large horses.
• Rotating schedule for night check and AM feeding.
• Tractor work (arena drag, water trailer, etc)
