We are a training, sales barn. We have anywhere from 12-40 horses at any one point. We have a full time groom however if you have ever said “I’m too old to groom” this is not the job for you. This is not because you will have to groom. However we are looking for a staff member who understands the care of the horses comes first above all things. We all groom something from time to time,(princesses you have been warned).
Rider for schooling and trailing for the jumper and hunter disciplines. Must give lessons to a limited number of clients from walk trot to 1.3 jumpers. No stall cleaning required. Must participate in feed planning, show scheduling, lesson planning. Will have the opportunity to show and pre show clients horses and sale horses. Opportunity for full time or part time positions exist. To be discussed.
Must have previous ring time at or above the 3’6”
Must be able to administer IV injections.
Must be positive and outgoing.
Must be organized.
Interview process will include two 4-6 hour days on site riding.
Must provide 2 Equine business references.
Money - pay varies between $150-$300 per day, opportunities to obtain additional commission will be discussed upon offering of the job.
