The farm is less than 20 years old and has 40 stalls, 2 indoor wash racks with hot and cold water, laundry room and attached 100 x 200 indoor arena. Very easy to work in and maintains a nice comfortable temperature in the winter - water buckets do not freeze! We have 19 paddocks and pens of various size on 21 acres.
Upstate NY - One of the Top Accredited TB Rescues is looking for full time live-In Help. “ Good Paying Job” This is not a riding job and can not bring personal horse.
NON Negotiable Must Haves…Confident totally reliable self starter who actually takes pride in their work and has to have TB experience, can turn out and bring in, able to handle fit intact i.e. ungelded “Colts”.
Trustworthy who can work without constant supervision.
Complete all barn chores including stalls, fix fencing as needed, wrap legs, give meds. Make sure horses have water and hay without being reminded. Good common horse sense….

In upstate NY on a lovely space with inside all weather 40 stall barn with indoor and outdoor rings,big office, bathrooms ,tack rooms, laundry facility,2 hot water all weather wash racks inside and summer outside racks for quick hosing. Paved walk to covered muck tip. Power blower for aisles and bed on shavings. Very well appointed single living generous studio style space with all utilities paid. Cat or small dog may be acceptable
On-site generator.
Close to shopping and restaurants.
Self starter that can work without supervision
Genuinely has a love for horses and enjoys being around them
Work 5 to 6 mornings per week, typically 7am until 12pm, afternoons - 3pm until 5pm. One to two days off per week
Will be expected to take charge when owner is out of town. Must be responsible, reliable and honest
