About The Facility
Eyes Up Equestrian is a bustling lesson barn and training program. We specialize in teaching beginner and intermediate riders how to event and restarting off the track thoroughbreds. We typically have 20-25 horses on the property and approximately 50 weekly lesson students. We have two full time trainers and a handful of dedicated working students.
Job Description
We're looking for a barn manager who will be accountable for the daily care of our horses and farm. Daily responsibilities will include stall cleaning (20-25), AM and PM feeding, turn in/out, sweeping, tidying and dragging the arenas. Weekly responsibilities include ordering feed and supplies for barn maintenance, staffing/scheduling coverage if needed or desired, cobwebbing, haynet maintenance, dusting, fixing stall mats, cleaning bathrooms and the viewing room, collecting trash.

The number of hours worked per week can fluctuate if the candidate would like to staff the daily care rather than do it themselves; however if coverage is not available, the barn manager defaults to cover the daily care of the horses and farm. We currently have approximately 6 part time staff who can offer coverage as needed and are open to hiring more help.

We value reliable, consistent, high quality care for the safety of our horses. We're specifically looking for someone who can take initiative and see a job that needs to be done without being told. This person will make a positive impact on those around them, our farm, and our horses. The number of hours this person works will be up to them and schedule can be somewhat flexible as long as horses are fed at a consistent time and the barns are clean by 3pm.

$13-$15 hour to start with room for growth for the right candidate.
