About The Facility
Ariat International is currently seeking an experienced retail Team Lead with an equestrian background to work at the Desert International Horse Park during the Fall 2021 events. Note: This is a Seasonal position from October – December 2021 and January - March 2022 operating a Brand booth at the Desert International Horse Park ( during the Desert Circuit.

Fall ‘21 Thermal Schedule

Oct 21-24: Desert Dressage
Nov 3-14: National Sunshine Series
Nov 18-21: Desert Dressage
Dec 2-11: Major League of Show Jumping
Will need to be available to work from October 15 - December 20,2021
Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
o Understand apparel/footwear for the specific discipline that the shopper needs.
o Fit customers for boots
o Follow correct procedures for opening and closing the booth
o Coordinate the daily cleaning of the booth
o Respond to inter-company requests such as transfers and returns
o Assist with conducting physical inventory
o Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly reports as needed
o Help our marketing team with execution of in-store marketing events
Job Requirements
1 to 2 years of previous retail experience, preferably in a soft goods apparel environment
· English Equestrian/riding experience
· High School graduate or equivalent
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent customer service and sales skills
· Able to lead in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
· Knowledge of PC applications
· Experience with retail POS/inventory computer systems
· · Maintain composure and professionalism under pressure while meeting multiple and sometimes competing deadlines

· Must be able to work up to 36-50 hours per week including early mornings, evenings/nights, weekends, and/or holidays, as well as overtime as needed by management

Physical Demands/Working Conditions (Time spent standing, sitting, bending, lifting):
· Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, and hear
· Frequently required to use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms
· Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
· Visions requirements: close vision, distant vision, as well as ability to adjust and focus
