We are a busy Eventing and dressage barn located in Carrollton, VA.
The right candidate for this positon will be a hardworking, dedicated individual looking to get a start in the industry, or one who enjoys helping with day to day barn operations.
Amazing Grace is a mid-sized barn of approximately 25 horses that focuses primarily on eventing but also has several clients who do just dressage. We are a no-drama barn with a strong team atmosphere, and interested candidates should be excited about joining a positive environment that focuses on providing exceptional care to our horses.
This position has flexibility for the right candidate to make the job meet their interests and needs in learning about the industry.
Managing turn in and out of horses, feeding, cleaning stalls, waterers, and barn. Some light maintenance work. Cleaning fields. Holding horses for vet and farrier. The right candidate has the ability to recognize illness and lameness issues and report them to the manager.
Salary TBD based on experience. Board for one horse is available. 5 day work week. Alternating holidays off.
No housing.
