About The Facility
Come to Point O’Pines Camp for Girls, a resort-style camp located in the Adirondack Mountains of upstate New York. We have over 150 staff positions and several internship opportunities and seek to fill them with students from many different majors and backgrounds. Under the general supervision of Program Area Directors, Area Heads, and Camp Directors, interns will have the opportunity to apply the skills and knowledge they have acquired in the classroom to a real world, fast-paced work environment.

Job Description
Point O'Pines Camp is seeking to hire Horseback Riding Instructors for the 2021 summer season. Our instructors lead groups of children in instruction during our seven-week summer camp. This experience will be a great opportunity for any seeking to work in equine education or riding instruction.

- Develop lesson plans, appropriate for all ages and skill levels of campers.
- Coach kids ages 7-15 in Horseback riding
- Supervise and care for the safe use of all equipment.

Job Requirements
Equine experience preferred.
Experience working with children preferred.
Proficiency in and ability to lead Horseback instruction.
We pay for round trip airfare, room & board, and offer a competitive salary
Description of Housing Provided
Counselors live in comfortable cabins (also called “bunks”) with the campers and are responsible first and foremost for the health, adjustment and happiness of the girls in the bunk. All cabins are modern facilities with fully equipped bathrooms and electricity.
