Based on a Historic Thoroughbred farm, Hermitage boasts over 500 acres over rolling hills. Hermitage is home to many barns full of food, combined driving horses as well as Thoroughbred mare and foals.
Looking for a self-motivated and detail oriented groom to take care of four retired sport horses. Daily care is needed for 4 retired combined driving horses are part of a tour program on a Historic Kentucky Farm. This position is 6 days a week and approximately 4 hours a day. Daily responsibilities would include feeding hay and grain, bringing in and turning out to the pasture, cleaning stalls and keeping the barn in order.
- Self provided transportation.
- At least 4 years horse handling experience.
