Private Fox Hunting Barn on extensive acreage. We trailer to an indoor ring in the winter months. Five horses, 3 active, 2 retired foxhunters. Facility is organized and tidy. We operate as a team and have implemented a care regimen that has been successful. All horses are handled daily and receive equal treatment, e.g. grooming, bathing, trimming, etc. Established support team (vet, farrier, dentist).
Private Fox Hunting barn looking for a mature, experienced individual to provide top class care for five horses. Responsible for all barn duties (feeding, mucking, grooming, turnout, night check), tack maintenance, etc. We need an experienced cross country rider capable of following the individual fitness requirements of 3 active horses. Responsible for preparation/presentation of horses for hunt meets and other events. Must have a valid driver’s license and to be able to drive a trailer to meets.
