Job Description
In this position, you will be responsible for sourcing candidates and clients nationwide in many facets of the Equine Industry. We handle everything from basic barn staff to high level trainers to business professionals. A deep, multi-faceted understanding of the industry is imperative to your success. High-level, hands-on experience in a variety of disciplines will be looked on extremely favorably. While formal sales or recruiting experience is not necessary, candidates should feel comfortable with the idea of cold-calling and conducting detailed phone interviews with candidates and employers.
Applicants who have experience and a desire to take on aspects of managing our social media will be given the creative freedom to do so.

In this position you will be primarily tasked with:
Candidates:
- Sourcing skilled candidates for open positions
- Conducting in-depth phone interviews with candidates to determine their skills, goals, personality, and interests
- Describing available positions to candidates in detail to ensure understanding of requirements, and generate excitement for the position
- Reviewing riding videos and other documentation provided by candidates to ensure aptitude for open positions
- Conducting professional reference checks on candidates
- Creating detailed summaries of candidates based on conversations, skills, and reference checks to submit to clients

Clients:
- Identifying the quality opportunities and organizations to represent as clients of Equistaff
- Conducting detailed initial conversations to identify needs of potential clients
- Discussing the services Equistaff provides and securing partnership with clients
- Generating detailed and engaging job descriptions for new positions
- Maintaining consistent communication with clients through the hiring process including facilitating interviews and travel

Additional aspects:
- Generating engaging content for social media and blogs
- Strategizing with the team on ways to grow the company
- Attending trade shows, horse shows, social gatherings, etc as a representative of Equistaff
- Growing the brand and shaping the industry!
Job Requirements
- Positive and outgoing personality
- Deep understanding of Equestrian Sport and overall industry
* Hands-on Experience at FEI Levels or equivalent a tremendous plus
- Exemplary communication skills
- Technological proficiency (Office 365, Canva, Custom ATS System)
- Ability to take extremely detailed notes on conversations
- Ability to recognize quality riding and horsemanship from videos & conversations
- Self-starting attitude & ability to work as a team to secure and fill orders, and grow the company
**Ability to speak Spanish a huge plus!**
