Johnson Family Horsepower Ranch in Magnolia Texas is a private equestrian ranch home to performance quarter horses and racing thoroughbreds. The family is looking for an experienced horse groom with experience in racing and competitive horses.
Horse grooms are generally responsible for tasks such as mucking out stalls, feed preparation and distribution, cleaning and refilling water containers, grooming and bathing, cleaning tack, bandaging legs, tacking up, and administering basic first aid for cuts and scrapes. Schedule: 6 days a week and every other Sunday. Weekly pay is negotiable based on experience. The ideal candidate has many years experience and lives in and near Magnolia Texas. Shift starts about 6 then there is about a 3-4 hour break and a evening feed/cleaning about 3pm ... About 5-7 hours a day. Sunday is a short day. Great opportunity for the right horse lover.
