About The Facility
Southern Breeze is a full service equestrian center located near Houston, Texas. We offer a wide range of services to accommodate the needs of our boarders and riders. Our 4 groomed arenas provide riders with an Olympic sized dressage arena, 2 jumping arenas and a covered arena with mirrors and our stadium lighting makes evening rides a pleasure.

Our popular lesson program accommodates all levels of hunter and jumper riders as well as low level dressage, and our therapeutic program is individually tailored to benefit riders with a variety of special needs.

We are a USHJA Registered Riding Academy with a USHJA Certified Trainer on staff. Additionally, the center is a PATH Registered Center for Therapeutic riding with a PATH Certified Instructor on staff.

Southern Breeze is a friendly, family oriented facility with amenities to add to your comfort. At the center of the gated facility is a clean air-conditioned and heated office and lounge with a full kitchen, satellite TV and snack machine. The free wi-fi makes it easy to do homework or office work on location at any time.

Horse shows are a vibrant part of our program. We regularly take horses and students to local Greater Houston H/J shows and an occasional "AA" show. Our head trainer is the coach of the Rice University IHSA Equestrian Team as well as an IEA Equestrian Coach for our high school and middle school teams. We host shows at least once a year and also take our therapeutic riders to the Top Hands Horse Show at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo each year.

Not all of our riders and horses are geared towards showing so the atmosphere is relaxed. Our philosophy is that we are all there because we love horses and enjoy helping each other to get the most out of our time with them.
