Light Farm is home to the largest herd of Hackney ponies in the United States. The farm has produced 40 plus World or Reserve World Champions. We have a modern indoor training facility with 48 stalls and a 80 x 200 arena. There are usually 30 to 35 ponies in training year round. We have a foal crop of 120 or more foals every year.
Train ponies for hand and driving classes at major shows. Hands on breaking to drive to final show preparation and fitting. Supervise 2 to 4 employees.
Demonstrated ability to produce show quality performance in Hackney ponies. Ability to supervise employees.
Salary plus housing, paid vacation, paid holidays.
