American Society of Equine Appraisers |

( ASEA ): an established, national society of independent, professional, horse appraisers seeks new members. ASEA certifies and trains professional horse appraisers to use the nationally recognized Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice in conducting their work. A four-and-one-half day appraisal course and an advanced five day course are offered at locations throughout the United States.

Designed to provide both classroom studies and a hands-on learning opportunity, the Equine Studies program at College of Central Florida is the answer for students seeking an equine-related education. The Associate in Science degree in Equine Studies is a 64-credit, two-year program designed to prepare the students for employment in several growing segments of the equine industry. Three different specializations are offered in which students complete 15 credits of general education, 28 credits of core equine and 21 credits within the field of specialization. These specializations are Equine Business management, Equine Exercise Physiology, Therapeutic Riding Management, as well as the new B.A.S. in Business and Organization Management-Agribusiness management Specialization.
